"Blank Canvas" an open-themed group exhibition of 2D works shaped by our experiences emulating time, place, or a feeling. The Designer Show House revival is at the 1853 William Flagg Homer House just steps away from downtown Belmont. Juried by Junior League of Boston 2017 Show House Co-Chairs: Suseen Divino, Hayley Hannan, Alison Webb.
This historic property, owned by the Belmont Woman's Club, will see between 5,00010,000 visitors during the monthlong initiative. Previously owned by William Flagg Homer and his wife Adeline Wellington, uncle and aunt of American landscape painter, Winslow Homer. The house, an architectural combination of both the Bracketed Italianate and French Mansard style, is set on a hill, with sweeping views of the Boston Skyline, and more than twenty soon to be renovated spaces.
