Story: Avita is a night nurse at a small community hospital who worked with COVID patients during the surge in Massachusetts last spring. Her story is one of resilience and strength. She migrated from Ghana at the age of twenty-two. She has a busy schedule as both a full-time nurse and a full-time nurse practitioner student. She was unfortunate to experience COVID as both a nurse and as a patient. She is now back working in the hospital full-time with more strength and purpose than ever before.
