Notes: This is a diptych in a single frame. The watercolor painting on the left is intermingled with scans of text from a novel, The Artist's Life, by my late father. It is a story of self discovery by the protagonist, a female artist. The relationship of the two images is one of discovery and blooming. The red lines were placed by an editor, they are marks to delete or change. Really, who should decide what you want, are?
